The Nature and the Beautiful Western Australia - Episode Two

Pinnacles Dessert, located at Nambung National Park is a must a visit place when you are traveling to Western Australia. It is located more than 190 km away from the Perth city and took about approximately 3 hours driving. Australia has a strict rules on the road. Therefore, please make sure that you are driving as per speed limit for the safety.

From Cervantes Lodge Backpackers, we drove back to the south and heading to Pinnacles Dessert, 20 km away from from our stay. It  opened 24/7 even nobody was guarding at the entrance. The entrance fee was $12 per car. There were boxes with envelopes ready at the entrance and tourist might put the money inside the box after fill in their details.

Once we reached there, Subhanallah, that was the only word I could say when I saw the view. What a beautiful Allah's creations. The view in Pinnacles Dessert was super amazing. The sun was so bright, and it made our photos look wonderful. As it was the end of Autumn, it was very windy and we didn't feel the heat at all. 

Enough taking pictures, we were then heading to Lancelin Sand Dunes at Lancelin, located about 78km from Pinnacles Dessert. It was a white sand dessert facing the open sea. You could rent a surf board and try to do the sand boarding, if you know how. It was raining before we reached there, so the sand was a bit wet. Therefore, we decided not to rent the surf board, but only enjoyed taking pictures since we were also running out of time.

Next, to the Margaret River located at the south of Western Australia which took us more than 4 hours to reach the destination. Our initial plan was to go to Augusta, but I realized that we had booked a wrong room in Quorn, South Australia instead of Augusta. My booking fee was burnt as it was charged to my credit card. Then, we were just walk in to one of the resorts, Margaret River Tourist Park and Cottages.

We had no choice than to take a bigger apartment that able to fit 5 persons. However, it was a very nice apartment with 2 bedrooms, a living hall, a dining area and kitchen. The rate was $190 per room per night. The view around the area was lovely with very nice weather.
