If you are looking for a very short but relaxing weekend getaway, this is one of the best place to visit. Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi, Pahang which also known as Berjaya Hills is a huge park owned by Berjaya Corporation. As a first timer, I never knew that they have such a nice place hidden by the hills.

Relish in century old Alsace charm at this French- themed resort settled at 2,700 feet above sea level amidst 80 acres of rainforest. Let the medieval french village and picturesque surroundings bring you back to an era steeped in culture and romance. From families and groups, to honeymooners and the pure romantics, Colmar Tropicale beckons you with enchanting grace and hospitality.

For more info log on to Colmar Tropicale, Berjaya Hills

Colmar Tropicale Resort

It is located only 50 km from Kuala Lumpur city centre and took about 50 minutes to reach the resort. But first, the visitors have to pay the entrance tickets to enter the resort. The rate is RM12.00 for adults and RM8.00 for children. This ticket also includes the entrance fee to Japanese Village and Botanical Garden.

Some of the visitors only come here as a day trip visit. Those visitors will not allowed to park at the resort because it is only reserved for the guest who checked in. They have to park at another resort next to Colmar Tropicale called The Chetaue.

The Chetaeu

This nice building is actually the resort itself. At the ground level, there are few restaurants offering varieties food and cuisine. Since the restaurants are the part of the resort, therefore the price is not cheap. During this visit, I have spend almost RM100 for my lunch, tea time and dinner in a day.

This resorts offers free shuttle services to Japanese Village and Botanical Garden. The frequency of the buses is every 30 minutes. You may refer to their schedule written at the bus stop.

Botanical Garden offers a fantastic view of rain forest flora. The garden is quite small but the view is fascinating. Never think that you won't get sweat when you are coming to this place. We were really wet and hot!

The Japanese restaurant offers the Japanese Cuisine. However, the price is quite substantial.

This is our room for two. It costs us RM277 per room per night including taxes. The concept is all white with basic facilities such as water heater, air-conditioning, kettle, and TV with Astro.

Other than Japanese Village and Botanical Garden, you may also try some adventures activities at the Adventure Park. The price is a bit try if you go as an individual instead of come as a group. All these activities are suitable for team building program.
