On the next day, we were having a tour to Phuket. Once the cruise stop at the Phuket pier, we could see a lot of rentals cars awaiting for us. There was also many stalls selling a lot of things nearby the pier. The tour packages also provided on board that we might choose but we prefer to travel on our own. Luckily, we've met another 2 new friends, Dayah and Tini, who were also free and easy like us. Therefore, we decided to go and travel together. 


After discussing, we agreed to take a car rental with driver to move around Phuket. There was a Places of Interest guide in the car that we could choose where we wanted to go. The advantage of travelling like this is we can arrange it due to our own time and we can skip those places that we are not interested to go. There were bad experience by other friends who took the tour package. As Muslim and the minority in the trip, it will not be enjoyable if the tour guide bring to non-halal restaurants. Also, you will only waste of your time waiting for other people to go to the bus once they finish visiting each and every places.


We went to Patong beach, Wang Talang Pearl Center, Karon Hill View, Cashew Nuts Factory, and also Honey Bee Factory. We didn't take much time visiting each places because we only have 1 day to move around Phuket. And yes, it was fun!

The lunch was still prepared on board as usual for those who prefer not to go anywhere. However, we prefer to have lunch during the tour and the driver suggested one seafood restaurant to us. The restaurant is Halal (as what he said). These were the menu that we ordered. Yummy!

We needed to go back to the ship before 8 pm otherwise the ship will leave us. We didn't bring our passport as the crew took it for immigration purposes. The access card was used as passport and we must not lost it otherwise it is going to be a big trouble to us.

We ended the tour with a photo session with our driver and went back to the cruise. After took some shower and change we were then enjoying our buffet dinner served for us. Supper was also provided, if you are still able to eat some more.

Advance Open Water Course is the easiest diving course to take. It is because it has no exam. But still have to do chapter review at the end of every chapters. Well, it is quite a long story but i still want to write about it.. Travel Date: 28th Apr - 1st May 2012. Location : Pulau Perhentian Kecil, Terengganu. We gathered at Zack's house in Taman Melati, Gombak, and began the journey to Kuala Besut through Karak Highway and East Coast Highway and took about 8 hours to reach Kuala Besut Jetty. Phnom Penh and The Tragic History May 20, 2013|Adiek Sarah Next destination is Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The journey to Phnom Penh from Ho Chi Minh is about 6 hours (plus minus with the immigration process). The bus that we booked a day before fetch us in front of the hostel around 6.30 am. It was air conditioned bus and served with a bottle of drinking water and wet tissue.   Having Maggi and 3 in 1 drinks for breakfast at 4.00 am The English speaking conductor was very friendly and helpful.
